Job Description

Ecolab is looking for a Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing who will be responsible for developing and executing the commercialization plan for Industrial Digital. The individual will partner with global divisional marketing, finance and commercial execution teams in setting and executing enterprise digital marketing and communication strategy, engineer and operationalize billing and invoicing processes, and develop performance management metrices. The ideal candidate is a business-savvy leader who can collaborate, ideate, motivate, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders and can skillfully deliver rapid, sustainable, and measurable value to our business. The position would report to the Digital Growth and Operations Leader in the Commercial Digital Solutions Global team and be based in Naperville, IL office.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee business transformational initiatives from digital commercialization perspective. Implement digital product configuration, pipeline management and performance tracking tools and processes that streamline commercial execution across the globe and maximize value capture for Nalco to execute $500M digital revenue plan.
  • Collaborate with divisional marketing and sales, legal, finance and commercial execution teams to support contract administration, billing and invoicing operations. Provide guidance and shares best practices with global partners. May lead a team of contract administration and sales enablement associates.
  • Own product scoping, design and delivery of marketing automation, contract lifecycle management and subscription management solutions in B2B context.
  • Lead addressable and serviceable market analysis, develop digital sales performance tracking dashboard and leading/lagging indicators for effective sales funnel management.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive marketing communications and sales promotion initiatives for Nalco Water’s digital platform. Oversee communication activities including technical and/or promotional writing and design, audio and video production, development, and management of digital communications channels, including Web sites, media relations and vendor relationship management.
  • Support Industrial digital knowledge management strategy; Own creation, storage and distribution of digital assets for internal and external use; manage the resource centers.
  • Analyze complex data sets using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, etc.), Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau), and SQL (Sequential Query Language) to derive business insights.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field plus five (5) years of experience as a Consultant, Marketing Manager, Marketing Communications Manager, Manager of Strategic Initiatives,
  • 3+ years’ experience working directly with B2B industrial customers.
  • Strong technical acumen, understanding customer data needs and the implementation of digital technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with key business stakeholders, understand complex problems, identify, and recommend solutions and communicate to all levels of leadership and partners.
  • Experience leading global stakeholders/partners through a large-scale deployment, demonstrating innovation and adoption.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Customer-centric thinking
  • Results-driven, dependable, coachable, and energetic

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Previous experience performing product/segment marketing and managing global programs, products, or services for B2B industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in digital strategy, innovation, and execution of both internal and customer-facing digital solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective, cohesive, and collaborative teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute winning strategies and solutions.
  • Demonstrated results managing across global matrix organizations and among peers.
  • Ability to create an environment that encourages breakthrough thinking.
  • Well-developed and proven leadership, project management, strategic thinking, marketing fundamentals, & business acumen
