About the Role:

As a Quality Assurance Technician I in our Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and sampling of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and report any deviations from standards will be critical to the success of our operations. You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all quality-related activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report deviations from standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with food safety and/or regulatory compliance
  • Experience with statistical process control and/or quality management systems
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning software

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, testing, and sampling of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications
  • Identify and report any deviations from standards and work with production team to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality-related activities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Assist in the training of production personnel on quality control procedures

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report deviations from standards on a daily basis. You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the production team and other stakeholders. Your ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, experience with statistical process control and/or quality management systems will be beneficial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Finally, proficiency with SAP or other enterprise resource planning software will be helpful in maintaining accurate records of all quality-related activities.
