Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Developer to play a key role in crafting the visual and interactive aspects of our products. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing experiences that delight users. In this role, your expertise will guide the entire design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into seamless, high-quality interfaces. You will also take on a leadership role, mentoring junior developers and ensuring that design best practices and industry trends are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web, mobile, and enterprise applications, ensuring designs are visually compelling and user-friendly while meeting business requirements.
Design Systems: Create and maintain unified design systems that ensure consistency across all products, platforms, and user journeys.
User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, develop personas, and create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Use data and feedback to iterate on designs, improving usability and user satisfaction.
Interaction Design: Develop smooth transitions, animations, and interactions that enhance the overall user experience while maintaining product functionality.
Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design principles are integrated into each stage of the development lifecycle.
Usability Testing & Optimization: Run usability tests, gather user feedback, and use analytics to identify and address areas for improvement, ensuring designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and engagement.
Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on design best practices and supporting team growth in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Front-End Development: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of design specifications and ensure responsive, seamless user interfaces.
Innovation & Trend Spotting: Stay up to date on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design practices and drive innovation in user experience.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of design processes, workflows, and components to facilitate smooth handoffs and ensure consistency across teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience: At least 15 years in UI/UX design or development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create outstanding user interfaces and experiences across various platforms.
Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
Front-End Development: Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong experience with responsive and adaptive design for both desktop and mobile platforms.
UX Research & Testing: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve user experiences.
User-Centered Design Expertise: Deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, usability heuristics, and design patterns.
Design Systems & Consistency: Proven experience building or maintaining design systems and style guides to ensure cohesive brand identity and consistency across products.
Interaction & Motion Design: Strong skills in interaction design, including creating engaging animations and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement.
Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Solid experience working in agile environments, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to drive design projects.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership Experience: Prior experience leading design teams, mentoring junior designers, and fostering a high-performance, creative team culture.
Mobile App Design: Expertise in designing mobile-first experiences with knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines.
Accessibility Expertise: Understanding of WCAG guidelines and experience designing accessible interfaces that meet the needs of all users.
Data-Driven Design: Ability to leverage data and analytics tools to inform design decisions and optimize user experience.
Certification: Relevant certifications in UI/UX design, HCI, or related fields.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative, user-friendly interfaces across platforms.
