Qualifications
:


  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in healthcare
  • Home Health, Hospice, or Skilled Nursing Facility experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local medical community


Educational requirements:


  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or five years previous sales or business development experience in home health or other related healthcare industries is required.


As a Home Health Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new referrals as well as maintaining existing referrals from target prospects and current accounts within the assigned territory. The Home Health Sales Representative’s primary referral sources will include physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, and hospitals. This role requires the ability to instill confidence and trust in referring doctors and patients and to identify growth opportunities while working closely with operational and clinical leadership to ensure fulfillment of quality commitments.

This position is base salary (Commensurate with experience), plus Bonus/Commission structure based on sales.


You will be actively engaging with physician and referral sources to generate new referrals, maintaining existing accounts, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and monthly sales/marketing meetings conducted by the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Development. You will also be expected to secure face-to-face documentation from referral sources as directed and assist patients, co-workers, and referral sources in resolving issues and concerns.


We are seeking a candidate with a high level of emotional intelligence and integrity who possesses excellent leadership, management, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate should have a calm demeanor, be a self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, and be well-organized. The ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work well under pressure is a must.
