Summary

The Account Manager (AM) will support Producers and/or AEs in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business. The Account Manager may also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Executive in the quoting of new accounts if needed.
  • Follow up on claims, advising the Account Executive if they need to get involved.
  • Assist with over the phone payments.
  • Assist Account Executive with requotes as requested.
  • Complete and send Evidence to banks per request.
  • Verify that endorsement was completed properly and downloaded into the system correctly.
  • Update the Applied system to ensure the system is correct with new addresses, phone number, email addresses, policy and claim download corrections, etc.
  • Complete the endorsement process and send out confirmation.
  • Send out checklist every year. Upon return, update any necessary information and advise Account Executive of anything noted that needs their attention. If the checklist is not returned, call to follow up and complete over the phone.
  • Follow up and complete underwriting requests.
  • Ensure all documents are completed and attached.
  • Other duties assisting the Account Executive.

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an insurance Account Management role
  • Agency experience is required
  • Experience working in the high-net-worth marketplace
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, though college degree preferred
  • Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states
  • Current with all necessary CE credits in required lines and states
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management system(s)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and ability to travel on business when required

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
