ESS, Inc., a full service wireless communications and security dealer, servicer, and integrator is seeking a qualified and experienced Inside Sales Representative to support our NJ/NY Metropolitan Area Sales Team. Use your strategic consultative and hunting skills to build strong relationships with current and new customers as you team with them to provide solutions to their safety and security needs. ESS is a leading service organization providing two-way radio equipment & systems, Security Solutions such as CCTV and Access Control, Point to Point Voice and Data solutions, Voice Recording, E911 communication equipment, In Building Voice and Data solutions, and Tower services providing customers with one stop shop integrated solutions. Successful candidates will be professional, motivated and customer service oriented.
Qualifications:
· Prefer minimum of 2 years of inside sales or marketing experience, preferably in the telecommunications or security fields or experience with Public Safety or IT related customers. Customer service experience will be considered for the right candidate that fits our other criteria.
· Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic relationship building personality. Must work well with others in person and via phone and video conferencing.
· Computer and Quotation skills (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint & CRM/marketing tools such as Hubspot)
· Follow up and Organizational skills are critical
· Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
· Strong listening and question based selling skills
A typical week might include the following tasks:
· Assist and maintain communications sales, service, and admin teams as needed.
· Compile the information provided Sales team and create customer proposals
· Place quotes requests in manufacturer ordering tools and provide the sales or admin team with the appropriate information
· Contact existing customers directly about special offers for parts, accessories, and services and provide proposals to customers
· Develop and qualify sales leads via telemarketing and advertising campaigns
· Assist in developing marketing campaigns
· Engage prospects through outreach and response efforts
· Record and maintain prospect and client contact information as it relates to account acquisition and development
· Support the sales team in maintaining strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle and visit customers occasionally as needed as well as participate in trade shows.
· Develop fluency in our products and solutions via ESS and manufacturer provided training.
· Use strong organizational and computer skills to ensure follow up and completion of tasks
· Customer Service communication and interpersonal skills are critical throughout.
