OVERVIEW

KTC is a full-service marketing agency dedicated to changing how the world sees, supports, and engages with social impact brands. We walk with our brands every step of the way from brand/campaign development and creative execution to a brand/campaigns launch, including all aspects of production and data management.

KTC is a socially forward boutique agency comprised of seasoned creatives and former-agency executives. We are award-winning brand marketers who serve as Cultural Connectors, Design-Centered Communicators, and New Thought Leaders.

The Account Executive is the face of the agency for his/her account(s), representing our core values every step of the way. The account executive will need great leadership skills and must be able to work with each department from creative to productions, managing multiple deliverables at a time all while keeping the client abreast of progress on a weekly, and sometime daily, basis. This position serves as the head of the account and will require one to create workflows and task timelines, ensuring the team has an understanding of client needs and tools available for each facet of the project. The account executive is essentially three steps ahead of the work at all times and is expected to anticipate any internal or external pain points. In this position, you will team up with the project manager weekly or bi-monthly, providing feedback on processes for systemic improvements and work daily with the account coordinator to allocate leg work for each deliverable.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Serve as primary client contact, collecting intel and client desires as they relate to the scope of work and disseminating work amongst the team per their allocated hours

  • Review and finalize copy for all assets prior to seeking executive approval

  • Manage project profitability and budget adherence

  • Create task specific timelines & systems for workflow, setting priorities and standard for optimal and efficient workflow

  • Finalize executive summaries to client - Communicating agency position on project timelines

  • Provide weekly updates to team on progress toward meeting the proposed timeline and secure understanding of timeline for remaining deliverables

  • Tracker Management & Task Allocation

  • Finalize/Approve 247 (Social Media Content Producer) Communications

  • Coordinate with PR and feed with company intel and research as proper preparation for deliverables

  • Aid in strategy for systems based off of your flow within our current systems

  • Identify and solve pain points

  • Pull client needs and outline needs on templates for the creative team's understanding of work. Also, provide the folder of support files/brand guidelines to creative.

  • Email client updates and respond to needs throughout project timeline

  • Newsletter Management & Coordination

  • Website Updates (based off of skill level) with account coordinator support

  • Serve as quality control for all account output

  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace

  • Be open to coaching by leaders

  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail

  • Be able to work independently and in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of management experience in an agency or contractor environment

  • 3+ years of direct response marketing experience

  • 2+ years of experience in experiential, traditional, and digital marketing

  • Experience working with a nonprofit, highly preferred

  • 1+ years of advertising/digital agency experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced Google documents or Microsoft Office suite
