Business Analysts are individual contributors who act as the primary point of contact for Informatics business customers.
The Business Analyst is responsible for alignment of Informatics with Business Strategy, integration across functions, prioritization of portfolio and delivery of service levels to business customers. This position is also responsible for the design and delivery of product strategy and roadmap.
The Opportunity:
- Providing Solutions/Services
- Engage and facilitate the co-creation of solutions with IT and Business Partnerships
- Align closely with a number of senior stakeholders across the business and IT division / influencing and persuading at all levels of the organization
- Assist in creating high-level proposals that could meet the business need and are in alignment with Informatics roadmaps and architecture, including build vs. buy options.
- Ensure alignment to defined technology roadmap
- Ensure development of business cases for all relevant business requests in his/her area of responsibility and present proposals to the Business Partners.
- Assists in developing highly complex, ambiguous and non-standard business requirements into detailed requirements, solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years in Project Management or Project Lead role with a minimum of Bachelors or Advanced Degree
- Experience and demonstrated success working in complex, globally-matrixed organizations
- Highly effective communication, administrative and management skills
- Strong team player, with a perspective that goes beyond his/her immediate area of responsibility
- Knowledge and experience in strategic planning, business planning, finance and operations management
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to motivate and inspire assigned business units
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% of time including outside of home country
