About the Role: As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our aggressive growth plan. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Contract Sales, you will lead strategic planning and provide leadership in growing our business with existing accounts, forging new customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.

About You:

  • You are a seasoned sales professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Business-to-Business consultative selling, ideally within the dietary supplement or related industry.
  • You have a proven track record of sales management, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • You possess strong strategic planning and analytical skills, allowing you to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Your excellent communication skills enable you to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree (MBA is preferred).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the commercial path to growth and profitability for MeriCal’s Contract Sales portfolio.
  • Lead the development of disruptive marketing and sales strategies to achieve market penetration and sales growth.
  • Provide commercial input to development activities and business/market analysis.
  • Track sales budgets and business development metrics, leveraging data to guide decisions for future growth.
  • Evaluate sales operations tools and organize the team for success, transparency, and execution.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of current and anticipated business conditions and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to implement core brand messages and positioning statements.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Business-to-Business consultative selling in the dietary supplement or related industry.
  • Proven sales management abilities covering strategy, program development, and reporting.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with a track record of identifying and capturing new markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
