JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES

Job Title: Account Manager Sales Representative – Consumables & Packaging Equipment

Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager

Direct Reports: None

Works with: Sales, Customers, Operations, Customer Service, Engineering, Parts, and Service


Pay Type: Salary

Overtime: Non-Exempt


Job Summary:

We are looking for a Dynamic, hands-on Account Manager that will be able to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase the sales of our organization's products and/or services.


You will be working with customers to find what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.

To ensure your success in this position, a wide degree of creativity and latitude will be needed.


This position is a career level position where work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The successful candidate will need to be based out of the GTA and will contribute to moderately complex aspects of various projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with meat processors, mushroom growers, and produce farms through phone calls and visits within North America.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with your products and services.
  • Utilize sales expertise and personable communication to foster relationships.
  • Conducting market research and staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and stock of products.
  • Support business expansion for consumable meat trays, stretch film, tray padding and related equipment.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support before, during, and after the sale.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals set by the company.

Job Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in sales related role.
  • Proven track record of sales growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as participating in collaborative team engagement.
  • Multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
