Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team, Initially to work within Saint John City in New Brunswick and surrounding areas in NB. This is primarily a remote position. We will offer decent pay and benefits for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth within the security services sector in Canada. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the security services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities within the security services sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prospect and engage with potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized security solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize market insights to develop targeted sales strategies and positioning for our security services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to contract closure, while ensuring timely follow-up and communication with prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Provide input and feedback on product/service offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities based on market insights and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Must have a New Brunswick Class 5 (or higher) driving license.
- No criminal history on the record. Excellent communication skills and intermediate-level computer skills.
- Possess some experience in Security/Safety/Bylaws/Project management.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales within the security services industry.
- Strong understanding of security services, including physical security, surveillance systems, access control, and alarm monitoring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: $44,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
