Job Description

The Manager of Corporate Financial Systems is responsible for the architecture, design, project delivery, and customer success of key corporate financial, accounting, and tax systems such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Anaplan, Onestream & Kyriba. This position is critical in driving best-in-class financial systems for the Company and requires a mix of leadership, systems expertise, and hands-on development and support knowledge. The Manager is a key member of the IT leadership organization and partners with both technical and business professionals internally and externally to build, maintain, and support systems across the organization.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the success of Oracle ERP Cloud & other programs as per the Product Owners’ priorities.
  • Ensures that projects are accurately scoped, budgeted, resourced, and conducted in line with IT strategy, security, and governance guidelines.
  • Meets regularly with internal customers (Product Owners), identifying issues and opportunities, and addressing as appropriate. Greystar’s users are spread across US, Europe & APAC.
  • Acts as a key liaison between other functional areas within IT and business leaders throughout the Company to assess project priorities, identify opportunities for systems improvements or enhancements, and evaluate the success and impact of Financial Systems solutions on Company operations.
  • Leads the design, development, implementation and support of new or revised solutions.
  • Own & delegate hands-on responsibilities in identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures for financial systems

Other Responsibilities:

  • Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
  • Incumbents work in an office environment, Charleston, SC (Greystar’s corporate office)
  • Incumbents must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment, paper reports, and journals for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.
  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training classes, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
  • CPA or MBA
  • Any Oracle ERP Cloud Financials Certification
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
  • Requires 10 years of Financial Applications experience, with a minimum of 8 of those years supporting Financials Oracle ERP Cloud SaaS or Oracle eBusiness solutions. Oracle ERP Cloud Financials experience is essential.
  • Executive presence with the ability to translate technology into business terms and to influence outcomes with key stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to technical and business resources with equal aptitude.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence individuals across all levels within the organization.

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
