Job Title: Inbound Account Executive at Focal

Location: Remote, with preference given to candidates able to work hybrid or in-person (Victoria, BC)

Job Type: Full-Time

Most wedding photographers still rely on word of mouth, expos, and sheer luck to grow their business. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it?

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of photographer ad accounts with the goal of maximizing bookings and enhancing client satisfaction. You will play a key role in our operations, driving success through effective account management and strategic campaign oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize a set of photographer ad accounts to maximize bookings for weddings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with photographers, understanding their needs and business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance; adjust strategies as necessary to improve results.
  • Work closely with marketing to implement effective ad campaigns that align with client objectives.
  • Provide regular performance reports to both clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and setting the stage for success.
  • Utilize CRM tools to efficiently track interactions and progress with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or marketing. Experience in all three areas is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and advertising platforms.
  • Prior experience utilizing CRM software to manage client relationships and track performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and utilize data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Energetic and proactive approach to client management and problem solving.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary, plus commission
  • OTE: $70K-$80K
  • Attractive performance incentives based on account success and client bookings.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Victoria, BC V8V 3K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
