Job Overview: In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving sales profitability and growth within the multifamily/apartment market. You'll utilize your strong prospecting skills to cultivate new business relationships while providing exceptional service to existing and potential customers. Your expertise in our flooring products and installation services will guide clients in making informed decisions, and your dedication to achieving monthly and quarterly goals will contribute to our continued success.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Nurturing a robust pipeline of new business through innovative prospecting techniques.
  • Skillfully presenting and advising on our diverse range of products and services to both current and potential clients, guiding them through choices tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Enthusiastically participate in all sales/marketing events as needed, including occasional out-of-state travel.
  • Providing comprehensive information to establish strong connections with each new customer.
  • Maintain well-structured floor plans and transparent pricing via customer templates for all accounts, ensuring clarity and confidence in every transaction.
  • Swiftly addressing customer concerns and resolving issues to maintain exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Setting and exceeding ambitious monthly and quarterly sales goals, driving our company's growth trajectory.
  • Conducting spontaneous on-site inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to standards, with results reported to our Installation department.
  • Proactively communicating market insights and competitive pricing data to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record with 1-2+ years of outside sales experience, coupled with a resilient hunter mentality.
  • Demonstrated expertise in prospecting, evidenced by your history of cultivating new accounts and securing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional prioritization, organizational, and time management skills, enabling you to efficiently manage multiple tasks and seize every growth prospect.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication, empowering you to build rapport and convey complex information with ease.
  • An aptitude for employing various remote tools to facilitate business interactions as required.
  • Proficiency in utilizing MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs, and/or Google Sheets.
  • Preferred familiarity with flooring products and/or industry knowledge.
  • A clean driving record, coupled with reliable personal transportation, and the willingness to embark on daily travel to diverse customer locations within your designated territory.
