ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
This role reports to The Dean’s Office.
SUMMARY
In this role the assistant will work with faculty to assist with ongoing outreach, documentation, within material sustainability research projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Principle Duties:
- Assist with textile quality testing and benchmarking (technical testing and experiential/user testing)
- Undertake guided research
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Contribute to the preparation of engagement materials and presentations
- Communicate with faculty, peers, relevant internal and external partners
- Close collaboration amongst other student researchers
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions and ongoing PD opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a Wilson School of Design program
- Cumulative GPA of 2.67 (B-)
- TCPS2 Core certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe CS
- Design research analysis skills
Salary Information
Anticipated Hourly Rate: $17.40 - $21.05
