The Logistics Commercial Development and sales Representative focuses on building and growing business opportunities within the logistics sector. This role involves a combination of sales, business development, and strategic partnership efforts to drive revenue and expand the company's market presence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to understand their logistics needs.
- Create and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Develop strategies to grow the company's commercial footprint in logistics services.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, etc.) to ensure service offerings meet client expectations.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with customers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze market data to determine the best ways to position and sell logistics solutions.
- Work with operations and product development teams to tailor logistics services based on market demands.
- Suggest improvements to logistics services to meet client needs better or improve efficiency.
- Maintain sales records, forecasts, and reports to track performance against sales targets.
- Regularly update management on sales efforts and progress.
Required Skills:
- Strong ability to close deals and understand the sales lifecycle in the logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of logistics services, such as transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and supply chain management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, partners, and internal teams.
