We have an opening at our busy Hamilton location as a New Truck Sales Representative.

The New Truck Sales Representative is required to promote the Kenworth Truck Centres’ product line within their designated territory. You will be required to prospect for new accounts, develop relationships with customers, and grow the existing customer base. This position reports directly to the New Truck Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Understand your customer’s needs and requirements and match them with the appropriate truck for their application.
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with all customers.
  • Utilize the supplied CRM to manage your daily activity, follow-up calls, quotations and available inventory; as well as maintain up-to-date contact information.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Assist with weekly scheduled duty days to assist any walk-in customers at the dealership.
  • Prepare quotes and present them to prospective customers in a professional manner.
  • Complete and finalize all pertinent documents and information required to finalize a vehicle sale.
  • Provide customer training focusing on the superior aspects of the product purchased.
  • Follow-up with customers after the sale of a vehicle.
  • Participate in industry events, and sales meetings and product training as assigned.
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude which drives positive sales results.
  • Maintain a valid OMVIC license.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Post Secondary Education
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills; face-to-face, over the phone and email
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail and organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office
  • Walk-in Customer Service experience
  • Truck Dealership experience
  • Sales experience
  • Valid G-class driver's license and clean driver's abstract report

Pay: From $56,996.00 per year
