*** We are looking for one BD Account Manager to be based out of Chicago area and one here on the Gulf Coast.

Business Development Account Manager Job Summary

This position is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This person will have the unique opportunity to learn and represent our cutting-edge ultrasonic cleaning technology. This role reports directly to the CEO.

We are seeking a talented Business Development / Account Manager professional to join our collaborative team to increase our portfolio of clients within the oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries.

We are looking to fill this position with someone who is motivated by organizational growth/change challenges. This role requires a proactive approach to developing strategic partnerships and maintaining strong client satisfaction and it is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make a big impact through collaboration at the highest level.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to target and acquire new clients in the oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing client companies.
  • Qualify leads and develop proposals that address client needs and pain points, highlighting the benefits of our ultrasonic cleaning technology.
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Proactive in identifying sales challenges and developing effective solutions.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, account performance, and customer feedback.
  • Manage and grow a book of business
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technologies, particularly in industrial cleaning and maintenance
  • Communicates effectively to all, accepts, and acts on feedback, utilizes active listening, and makes/meets commitments. This includes verbal and written communication.
  • Meet target goals and performance expectations.

  • Basic understanding of the industry-specific tools and platforms relevant to the business.
  • Experience in setting and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver on client expectations.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management in the industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on complex B2B solutions.
  • Strong book of existing business relationships in the oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries.
  • Cold calling experience
  • Quoting/Pricing experience

Other Requirements:

  • Clean Background Check
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol tests
  • 2-4 solid professional references

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
