Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sales Representative & Account Manager with laboratory experience to support our growth initiatives, starting with the Toxicology Division. Working under the guidance of the National Sales Manager and in collaboration with the Business Development (BD) team, this role focuses on client outreach, business growth, and relationship management across Southern California. As part of our comprehensive lab testing services, which include toxicology, routine bloodwork, PGx, and infectious disease, this position will engage clients and build meaningful partnerships within the healthcare sector. The role centers on engaging clients, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the BD team in achieving strategic sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will have laboratory experience, particularly in toxicology, along with strong organizational and communication skills. A passion for healthcare is essential, as well as the flexibility to travel both locally and across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Outreach & Engagement:
- Identify and Connect with Clients: Support efforts to engage new clients and reconnect with existing accounts within the toxicology and broader lab testing sectors.
- Strategic Outreach Support: Assist in developing and implementing outreach efforts to support the National Sales Manager’s strategy for growth in assigned territories.
2. Business Development Support:
- Client Acquisition Support: Conduct research and outreach to identify potential clients, coordinate initial contact, and assist in maintaining a robust client pipeline.
- Contribute to Revenue Goals: Work under the National Sales Manager’s direction to contribute to revenue and growth objectives, proactively supporting initiatives that align with national sales goals.
3. Account Management & Relationship-Building:
- Build Client Loyalty: Serve as a responsive and reliable point of contact for new and existing clients, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Enhance Client Retention: Collaborate with the BD team to manage ongoing client relationships, fostering client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
4. Networking & Brand Representation:
- Represent the Company: Attend select conferences, networking events, and meetings within Southern California, engaging potential clients and supporting the BD team’s outreach efforts.
- Industry Connections: Develop connections with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and influencers to support brand awareness and future opportunities.
5. KPI Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and Report Performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to client engagement and outreach activities, providing regular updates to the National Sales Manager.
- Data-Driven Approach: Leverage data and feedback to refine client engagement tactics, ensuring alignment with BD team objectives.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience and support unified messaging.
- Align with BD Initiatives: Contribute to sales campaigns and client engagement events, supporting the broader goals of the BD team and the National Sales Manager.
7. Additional Duties as Assigned:
- Adapt to Evolving Needs: Take on additional tasks as required to support the BD team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in sales, business development, or a client-facing role, ideally within healthcare, lab services, or a related industry.
Skills Required
- Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for engaging clients and supporting the BD team’s initiatives.
- Organizational Strength: Ability to manage multiple priorities, track outreach activities, and maintain accurate client records.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively, taking direction from the National Sales Manager and contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. to engage clients and support BD team initiatives.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
