Job Overview
· Serves as a hands on and trusted resource for existing and new customers in all geographic areas, fully immersing in all ECC customer base and technology offerings to best leverage and grow ECC.
· Serves as a hands on and trusted resource for existing and new customers as assigned, fully immersing in all ECC customer base and technology offerings to best leverage and grow ECC.
· Develops intimate knowledge of customer manufacturing operations, with an eye on opportunities to suggest improvements. Builds and maintains long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
· Develops a strategic plan to achieve sales targets.
· Creates and communicates sales goals and ensures the team is properly informed of the progress.
· Responds to customer inquiries for samples, technical data, and support. Responds to customer inquiries on the use and application of products.
· Develops and manages new business in ECC’s core technology segments.
· Troubleshoots quality issues with products and makes recommendations on use of products in customer’s manufacturing process.
· Effectively communicates with internal teams to help forecast workloads throughout the organization.
· Analyzes key performance and productivity metrics to understand the business, identifies opportunities and/or addresses business challenges.
· Understands and applies industry-specific trends and landscapes, communicating with customers on any changes.
· Helps customers plan for market trends and environmental regulations in the industry.
· Provides customers with a realistic view of what products can be made based on raw materials approved and in circulation.
· Proactively provides feedback to the R&D team when working on new products.
· Effectively communicates value propositions through presentations and proposals.
· Manages and maintains ECC customer and product contribution margins by all means required.
Performs other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in business management, or other related field of study required.
· 7-10 years of sales experience in manufacturing environment.
· Previous experience in chemical and coatings industry.
- Advanced Skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Demonstrated management, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
