A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DESIGN CONSULTANT: (ACCOUNTABILITY)

  • Passionately creates customers for life, one exceptional experience at a time.
  • Educate customers on La-Z-Boy products and services, communicating special promotions, features, benefits, and use and care information.
  • Demonstrate the culture held within the company, including an attitude of fun, respect, sense of humor, support, empowerment, encouragement, passion, interaction with all our staff and clients.
  • Respect and demonstrate company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve personal and sales goals.

MUST HAVE’S: (QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS)

  • Sales experience.
  • The ability to provide extraordinary client interactions and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Passion and knowledge of interior design and decorating.
  • Energy and drive.
  • Demonstrate creativity and ability to meet sales goals.
  • Proven record of customer service excellence.
  • A strong personal sense of style.
  • Candidate must be upbeat, optimistic, passionate, friendly and authentic.
  • Responsible and dependable.
  • Pro-active and solution-oriented.
  • Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.
  • Excellent team player and ability to work independently.
  • Sets high expectations and drives performance towards outstanding results.
  • Clearly communicate and effectively listen to clients wants, needs and desires.
  • Prior retail or furniture experience is helpful to your success.
  • Completion of Grade 12 Education.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/ Office 365, and POS systems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
