Sales Representative

Payrate: 60-65K base plus commission

This Food Service complay is a privately held locally owned full-service food service distribution company.

• Establish solid relationships with customer
• Maintain sales and revenue through gap and menu analysis
• Product and pricing knowledge
• Build product order guides for each customer
• Daily order entry using laptop
• Participation in sales meetings and marketing initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate and manage daily sales calls and activities to grow business.
• Develop sales plan and sales budget in conjunction with company growth goals.
• Compliance with A/R requests for collections to ensure customer are within payment terms
• Ability to build territory through opening new accounts and product penetration.
• Resolve day-to-day issues for customers.
• Communicate to all departments to ensure customer needs are met with full satisfaction.
• RequirementsOrganizational skills Strong sales and teamwork skills, and ability to relate to customers at all levels
• Ability to work and produce strong results on own compliance with all company policies
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, and ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Preferable to have either a Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in food service distribution sales
• Current driver’s license and automobile insurance required and able to use a laptop and have basic math skills
• Willing to work in a field that is subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays and other duties as needed
• Food Service Sales: 5 years minimum expience
