The Software Developer who will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting our ERP System. They will ensure the system operates at optimal levels, interact with vendors to resolve issues, and collaborate with Business Analysts, users, and other developers to develop requested changes and new solutions that meet operational requirements. Experience working with AS400/IBM i platform is a plus, otherwise candidates must possess the aptitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn the platform and programming languages.
Experience:
- Education and/or experience in application design, development and dupport functions
- Knowledge/experience with or willingness to learn AS400/IBM i, OS/400, DB2, RPG/RPGLE and CL programming skills
- Experience in the following technologies: .NET, C#, Java and Web Development Languages
- Experience applying technical solutions to business requirements
- Experience with database modeling and design, configuration and information management preferred
- SQL coding experience is a plus
- Job duties include designing, coding, testing (unit, system, performance), debugging, implementing, documenting, and supporting systems through new development, enhancements, or third-party product implementation.
- Knowledge of web services and APIs connectivity
- Experience in estimating project effort for solutions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with non-technical staff
- Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with users
