Job Description

Description: To ensure peak efficiency according to operational goals through proper storage, organizing, receiving, shipping, handling, and storage of raw materials, finished good, components, and packaging while supervising, training, and mentoring warehouse employees.

Responsibilities:

· Supervisor daily warehouse activities including: team productivity, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory control, space management, and customer service.

· Timely staging, verification, shipping documents and customer correspondence for finished goods shipments to customers.

· Locate finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to warehouse locations specified by Materials Manager.

· Safeguard inventory from loss or damage.

· Schedule and oversee the warehouse team including: flow, quality of work to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and housekeeping.

· Oversee and effectively manage logistics for transporting products to customers, suppliers, and other company facilities through communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of shipments.

· Manage logistics of receiving of incoming material, components, packaging, etc.

· Staging of raw material to staging area location.

· Physical inventory counts as needed.

· Other duties as required.

· Knowledge and understanding of work instructions

· Oversee training and performance of shipping personnel
