KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Key Account Manager is focused on cultivating sales with school bus manufacturers, contractors, dealers, and parts distributors within their territory. The Key Account Manager is an experienced sales professional that thrives on providing unparalleled customer support and closing business. Working from their home, they cover the West Coast of North America.
HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT
- Targeting and selling to school bus manufacturers and contractors
- Onboarding school bus dealers and parts distributors as authorized resellers of First Light’s products.
- Train resellers on product features, sales messaging, etc.
- Help resellers identify and close sales opportunities.
- Coordinate and execute on ride-a-longs with resellers.
- Help stimulate sales with underperforming resellers.
- Demonstrate products, explain features, benefits, and solicit orders.
- Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Goal of aggressively growing accounts.
- Plan your schedule with supporting team members to meet sales goals.
- Build and maintain customer relationships by delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
- Become a subject matter expert on FLSP products.
- Track sales progress via web-based applications and prepare reports.
- Update company CRM daily.
- Participate in industry tradeshows and professional events.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE
- Degree or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft office programs.
- Customer focused attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Availability to travel as needed.
