It involves driving product innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning ILI software priorities with business objectives. The role also focuses on market trends, pricing strategies, and expanding SaaS offerings while ensuring continuous, high-quality product development and managing risks for new initiatives.
Job Overview
- Owns and manages the software and analytics platform including releases, roadmaps and go to market activities such as pricing, messaging, customer engagement, sales pipeline generation and sales enablement. Driving roadmap prioritization for ILI software and analytics with alignment across Gas PM, Liquids PM & Dynamic Risk GM
- Creates, identifies, and evangelizes new concepts that result in business model innovation (product, sales, services, and delivery)
- Is accountable for organizational and business objectives/targets and is involved in long-term planning and managing complex issues to ensure success of business strategy.
- Lead a cross-functional team to drive delivery of differentiated high revenue impact software products, platforms and features.
- Develop specialized knowledge of latest commercial market trends and competition in the inline inspection and integrity management space including factors that differentiate them.
- Defines and implements pricing strategies based on customer value propositions to maximize product value and market competitiveness.
- Validates desirability, feasibility, viability, and adaptability of existing software platforms to increase software revenues and contribution margins for software and tech enabled services. Including launching and expanding SaaS product offerings
- Partner with engineering leaders, project operations and technical product managers to ensure there is a strong development process that delivers continuous, high quality product and service releases
- Have a strong understanding of technology and architecture and its impact on the solution delivered to the customer, costs (software) and risks to the product release (including performance specifications).
- Risk assessment and management for new product initiatives and product updates.

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, computer science, engineering, or related discipline is required
- Minimum of eight years of experience in Product Management is required
- Minimum of two years of experience working for data technology companies
- Must have proven track record of substantially growing a company through product led growth
- Knowledge of how to improve product management processes, outcomes, and ongoing results
- Highly skilled at defining portfolio and investment decisions that balance new customer needs, install base requirements and long-term differentiation.
- Identified industry dynamics, trends and policies to drive the product team to explore alternate technologies and approaches to solve customers’ problems in a manner that results in significant growth.
- Able to make strategic partnership decisions for product offerings including when to buy, build or partner and creation of new sales channels.
- Is highly skilled with product management best practices such as setting and driving value-based pricing.
- Ability to manage competing stakeholders asks into an aligned roadmap and value proposition for the development team.
- Able to do and articulate a cost, benefit, reliability, and risk analysis of alternatives.
- Assess competitors and create battle cards.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge& experience building data platforms(ingest, analytics, data science, data management, data quality, dev ops)including industry standards, best practices and the ability to evaluate trade-offs in technical choices.
- Strong acumen of hardware & software development lifecycle and product design.
- Skilled with executing a continuous delivery methodology of build, test, iterate for hardware, software & service solutions.
- Proven leadership with a strong commitment to advocating for key initiatives, motivating teams, and driving continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, drive cross-functional collaboration, and resolve challenges through critical thinking, best practices, and innovative problem-solving.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues, effectively communicating complex information, and building consensus among stakeholders.
- Strong persuasive skills, with the capacity to communicate data-driven reasoning, influence outcomes, and navigate stakeholder dynamics.
- Expertise in assessing risks, managing uncertainty, and making confident decisions based on data analysis, even in ambiguous situations.
