We are seeking a dynamic inside sales representative to join our growing North American sales team. This individual will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter with impeccable attention to detail, along with strong written and oral communication skills. This position will be part of a team of inside sales representatives and will oversee the revenue production, KPI results, and process adherence within an assigned sales territory. Their responsibilities will include all aspects of being part of an inside sales team as defined below:
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Responsible for driving performance to achieve monthly goals within assigned territory.
- Meet and exceed personal metrics, goals and KPIs.
- Exceeds personal sales goals.
- Follow established sales and operational processes.
- Share techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Contributes to regular team meetings to share wins, insights, ideas, and potential best practices.
- Be open and accepting of feedback in one-on-one meetings with inside sales manager for coaching, performance reviews, and accountability.
- Assists with onboarding and on-the-job training for new inside sales representatives as team evolves.
- Works cross-functionally with other departments (marketing, customer success, training)
- Develop strong partnerships with outside representatives
- Have an intimate understanding of the company’s products/services and keep current with the latest industry trends and news.
- Comply with and ensure department compliance with Metrasens’ health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
- Other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience and demonstrated success selling via inside sales. Experience selling into the education, state/local government, or healthcare markets is preferred but not required.
- Background in a high, outbound call environment working with leads while also generating new opportunities.
- Ability to adapt and work within a spirited, team environment.
- Experience selling high-technology equipment preferred.
- Be able to handle high-pressure situations and work in a target-oriented environment.
- Experience working in a CRM like SFDC.
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a hybrid role.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Willingness to learn and take feedback as we build our inside sales team
- Self-motivated, competitive, team-oriented and an ability to adjust tactics based on data/results
- Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers/prospects
- Excellent phone and written communication skills

- Will be required to consistently work across numerous time zones

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Inside Sales Representative’s primary workstation will be in a corporate office setting. The Inside Sales Representative will work alongside their team of inside sales representatives at the company’s North American operation center.

COMPENSATION:
Base $50,000 to $70,000. OTE $85,000 to $90,0000.
