Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and cold call new carriers to add into our network.
- Develop strong Carrier relationships.
- Hit quarterly KPI’s revolving around call time, loads booked, and service levels.
- Responsible for coverage and service levels or freight delivering into assigned region.
- Resolve in transit issues and properly track customer shipments
- Regulate freight markets by decreasing our spending on purchased transportation.
- Collaborate with pricing team, customer operations and customer sales to help grow and service our customer accounts.
- Present Capacity to Customer Sales reps to showcase to their customer base.
- Your roles and responsibilities are subject to change based on the demands of individual accounts.
- Perform additional duties which may be required by your supervisor.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Carrier Sales in a 3pl environment is required.
- Highly motivated individuals looking to grow a book of business.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet department KPIS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
