About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Development leader who will be responsible for developing and implementing our global sales development strategy. As part of this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing an external contractor as well as developing a world class in-house sales development organization. This candidate must be an expert on hiring, developing go-to-market plans, building relationships, and managing a quota carrying organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with inbound and outbound sales development as well as direct sales experience. Familiarity with closed loop marketing a plus. The ideal candidate has extensive experience reporting, identifying sales plays, following a multi-touch prospecting methodology, and developing talent. Experience leading a global team a plus.
Location:
Hybrid position, working three days per week in our Manchester, NH office
This is a global role, and so must have ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate meetings with other time zones
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for inbound and outbound sales development
- Develop Sales Development future strategy
- Build working relationship between Sales Development, Marketing, and Sales
- Help hire, retain, train, and attract new employees
- Use talent management strategies to retain and develop team
- Effectively communicate and report the team’s progress
What You Need to Succeed:
- 8+ years’ experience in leadership, sales, sales development
- Project management and change management experience
- Closed loop marketing experience a plus
- Experience in the software/tech industry
- Experience starting, growing, and developing teams
- Success hitting quota/metrics
- Able to multi-task
- Highly organized
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Ability to manage both individual contributors as well as managers
