We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fixed Income Cross Product Sales Representative to join our Fixed Income Trading team. This role is in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Manage a portfolio of existing clients or prospects, focusing on client satisfaction, relationship building and business growth
Responsible for achieving sales targets assigned by the team
Advise clients on BNY’s Fixed Income products offerings
Perform in-depth industry research and maintain an understanding of the market environment, including short- and long-term trends, competitor offerings, regulatory developments etc.
Generate leads from within existing client accounts or as a results of industry research, prospecting
Contribute to overall team strategy and drive business development initiatives
Ensures deals are compliant with all regulations

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
3+ years’ experience in Fixed Income Sales
Strong relationships within the financial industry
Well versed in Fixed Income markets and US Economy
Deep understanding of client liquidity needs
Strong problem solving, communication and influencing skills
Experience in conducting primary research, competitive benchmarking, and market intelligence
Proactive self-starter with questioning mindset
Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced, global environment often under tight time constraints

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
