Our Exciting Opportunity!
As the Head of Business Development for CU AT&T, you will be accountable for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to create new revenue streams for Ericsson. This role will also include monetization. Additionally, you will have accountability of Sales Operations & Business Operations for CU AT&T.
This role reports to the Head of CU AT&T and is based in Plano, Texas.
In this role you will:
- Lead a function responsible for business development pursuits focused on sales to AT&T for their Federal, Enterprise, and to some degree FirstNet customers to develop new revenue streams for Ericsson and CU AT&T.
- Build cross-functional relations, delivering on commitments with integrity and continually fostering satisfaction and engagement amongst customer, business/market areas, strategy, business development teams, and domains.
- Collaborate with AT&T to realize increased monetization leveraging wireless technologies
- Oversee and manage CU AT&T Sales Operations driving continuous improvement, development, change management and oversight of Sales Processes and Tools (e.g., Salesforce), reporting, efficiency, and support for the CU.
- Serve as the CU’s business plan driver and strategy execution
- Drive optimized governance and ways of working across the CU and extended AT&T teams in Ericsson. Continuously evaluate and propose means to improve our operating efficiencies, within Ericsson
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Ability to build relationships at executive level and incubate business in emerging area.
- Ability to understand and map key decision makers and influencers to create a win plan
- Ability to build innovative financial solutions benefiting both the customer and Ericsson.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Accepts challenges/takes risk to enter new business areas and lead the way before others.
- Sales hunting experience
- Strong understanding of Ericsson’s Portfolio in emerging areas.
- Experience with Sales Operations, Sales processes and tools, and how it works within the Customer Unit.
- Experience in working with customer organization.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to build a business plan in an ambiguous and gain support and alignment for the business plan
- Perseverance and passion to reach win/win solutions through a collaborative approach, highly skilled at problem solving to root cause using critical thinking and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Preferred) in relevant science or engineering with minimum of 10 years in the technology industry.
- Minimum of 5 years leading a team or in a matrix environment.
