Position Title: Independent Sales Representative

Reports to: EVP of Sales

FLSA: 1099/Contractor

Location:MD, PA, VA(must live in the territory)

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for servicing the needs of existing customers, generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. You will work independently, managing your own territory and schedule, to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and contact potential customers through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email, networking).
  • Sales Process: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to engage customers, understand their needs, and present our products or services.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Trade Shows: May be asked to attend national or local trade shows.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure timely payment.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in western and outdoor apparel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
