Position Summary and Responsibilities:The Beverage/Chemical Manager directs, promotes, and coordinates the operations of their Food Division branch location in a manner that will optimize market share and profitability, improve efficiency, help achieve the company's mission and goals, and promote the company as a leader in its industry.
- Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self-management practices in support of Ben E. Keith culture
- Increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining subordinates
- Communicate organizational values, strategies and objectives
- Use Power BI to grow sales utilizing Equipment Technician Specialist
- Provide the sales team with all necessary resources helping them achieve maximum execution within their assigned area including instruction, sales data and needed equipment
- Manage daily scheduling of Equipment Technician Specialist
- Manage daily administration (attendance, vacations, sick days, reports, and various paperwork)
- Visit accounts with and without assigned Sales Representatives as often as possible to build on current relationships and gain feedback regarding level of customer service provided by the Sales Representative
- Build the company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees
- Investigate and address any customer complaints and address with employee as appropriate
- Respond to accident notification and visit accident scenes involving BEK drivers and/or vehicles.
- Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent preferred but not required
- Five years sales and/or account management experience or market knowledge preferred
- Must have the ability to lead others and obtain desired results through motivation, communication, and leading by example
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred
- Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
- Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
- Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
