About Team Outfitters:
Team Outfitters is a dynamic leader in custom apparel and promotional products, dedicated to delivering top-quality gear for sports teams, businesses, non-profits, events, and educational institutions. As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative to help propel our growth into new geographic markets and strengthen our presence in existing ones.

The Role:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s revenue by expanding our client base and fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will focus on identifying and seizing sales opportunities, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that align with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in your designated territory.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients in various sectors, including sports teams, local businesses, non-profits, event organizers, and educational institutions.
  • Conduct cold calls, face-to-face meetings, and networking at industry events to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments and a deep understanding of our offerings.
  • Provide clients with quotes, sales proposals, and presentations tailored to their needs.
  • Gather market and customer information to inform product and sales strategies.
  • Offer feedback to the management team on marketing strategies, product requirements, and sales tactics.
  • Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) databases with client information and sales progress.
  • Travel within territory to meet prospects and customers, maintaining flexibility to respond to customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful outside sales, preferably in apparel, promotional products, or a related industry.
  • Strong ability to develop and close sales with various customer segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for persuasive and clear presentation.
  • Self-driven and result-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and proficient in using technology as a sales enabler.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the designated territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

  • Outside sales: 3 years (preferred)
