Job Description

Kuger Inc, Division Recycling offers a full range of services, including paper, cardboard, plastic and wood recycling, as well as on-site and off-site shredding.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic sales representative to locate sources of recyclable products and target new customers for bulk and baled cardboard recovery. His or her skills will enable him or her to position himself or herself in his or her territory in order to densify the various collection routes. Working in partnership with other team members and departments, the representative will reflect Kruger Recyclage's vision and growth strategy within the organization and towards its customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solicit new customers and/or suppliers by telephone and on the road.
  • Sell bulk and baled cardboard pick-up service to local industries, businesses and institutions.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of new customers with the customer service and dispatch representative, as well as the delivery of various equipment.
  • Provide first-rate customer service to buyers and sellers in the annual portfolio of customers and/or suppliers.
  • Resolve problems with customers and/or suppliers in the annual customer and/or supplier portfolio.
  • Complete complaint reports and follow up with annual portfolio of customers and/or suppliers.
  • Make frequent visits to suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct market analyses.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and customers;
  • Prepare, write and follow up customer bids.
  • Follow up customers we have served once (one-shot), so that they become regular customers.
  • Constant communication with other representatives, brokers and customer service representatives.
  • Enter all customer and/or supplier information into the company's CRM system, as well as the customer's contact information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEC in administration, marketing or other related field.
  • Relevant experience directly related to the job
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • French/English bilingualism, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of the Quebec recycling market would be an asset;

NOTE

Knowledge of English is required for this specific position, as Kruger deals with partners throughout North America and the successful candidate will be required to communicate frequently with them. Kruger has taken all reasonable steps to avoid imposing knowledge of English, in particular by assessing the actual language needs associated with the duties to be performed, by ensuring that the language skills already required of other staff members were insufficient for the performance of these duties, and by limiting as far as possible the number of positions involving duties requiring knowledge of English.
