We have an exciting role in the New England landscape for a Business Development Professional! Can be based anywhere in New England but must be able to get to the target rich environments of Boston, Hartford, Southern Fairfield Co. and Providence on a regular basis.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to sell the service lines provided by Colonial Security Services. Along the way you will be Identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities, developing a client engagement plan, and executing against company-wide initiatives

Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis: Identify emerging trends, market shifts, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Secure new client appointments and manage the sales pipeline effectively to achieve targets.
  • Gather comprehensive client intelligence before initial appointments to tailor solutions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance our service offerings and market presence.
  • Develop customized programs to meet client needs, ensuring maximum satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Devise and execute innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet/exceed targets.
  • Negotiate pricing terms to align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of our offerings to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
  • Coordinate and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to win new business
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and drive initiatives that foster growth and success.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
What you should bring to the table;

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Sales, Business Administration/Management, Marketing and/or other business development-related fields.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization, from a CEO to a front-office professional
  • Must be able to provide evidence of a proven sales track record
  • Must be able to thrive in a matrix environment working closely with operational leaders.
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience
  • Experience specializing in new business acquisition, demonstrating a “hunter” sales mentality.
  • Must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with policy and a valid driver's license.
  • Considerable experience in the field engaging with clients and prospects to deliver territory growth.
