Job Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with excellent communication skills and the ability to assist customers effectively.

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, text and in-person interactions
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, returns, and product information
- Conduct incoming sales calls to potential customers
- Conduct outbound sales calls to potential customers
- Maintain accurate customer records and update databases
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
-Assist with scheduling new clients with their teacher
- Multilingual candidates who can communicate in Spanish are especially desirable

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales roles
- Strong phone etiquette and organizational skills are essential
- Taking music lessons and performing in an instrument

A successful candidate would:

LOVE talking to people

Know alot about music, teaching, or working with kids

Not be afraid to have a difficult discussion with a parent (i.e. they don’t understand our policies, or their teacher is moving away). These discussions are important and when done well, improve our connection with our clients.

Be a self-starter and manage their time well. This is an at home position, and integrity in your work is paramount.

Be great with learning new software and learning new systems.

Be capable with spreadsheet software

Be willing to be creative in ways to get word out about what we do.

Be passionate about sharing music with others

Be a positive personality - willing to solve problems and work in a team.

Be ok with presenting in front of others (hosting events)

Other details:

This work from home position would require the candidate to have a computer, headphones and a quiet space to work. Regular hours would be expected. Consistent internet is also a requirement.

In person events will be required at times, and the candidate should have a reliable vehicle. Travel out of the city will include travel pay and a per diem.

Pay:

$21/hour to start

Potential for salary and full time expected by Spring 2025

Bonus offered for sales during build up to Spring and Fall semesters

Commissions for sales could make this position equivalent up to $25/hour or more.

Hours:

Flexible, but we expect M-F 12-6 would be ideal. This could be adjusted based on the individual.

Approximately 25-30 hours a week.

Start date:

August 1st. If the candidate can begin sooner with lighter hours and train into the position, that would be welcomed.
