Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Account Sales will be responsible for selling products or services while providing excellent customer service as well as performing an important role in the overall customer experience by helping with sales and customer inquiries by email, phone and in-person meeting. with customers including sales and technical discussions
Role Priorities
- Develop relationships with current customers and drive sales outside of the customer’s original order, including additional products.
- Communicate with assigned customers. Explain technical and quality information for the products as well as shipping and delivery schedule.
- Explain to existing and potential customers the new products for their needs.
- Recommend the related products to increase customers options.
Performance Requirements
- Daily correspondence with customers by e-mail/phone based on the information from suppliers
- Domestic travel to customers (1-2 per month)
- Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Communicate with Assistant Manager to meet customers’ needs
Required Skills, Experience and Education
Minimum Experience:
- Review and enter data
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Cross-reference data accurately
- Excellent organizational skills
- Works well independently and with a team
- At least one year sales experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
