Samples Team Lead - New Century, KS
Overview: Oversee the daily operations of the Sample Department identifying organizational needs, providing guidance, support, and managing the relationship between staff, business, and management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise the daily activities and performance of sample team
- Download sample request from SFDC and e-Mail
- Communicate sample order status to Customer Service and Sales
- Replenish the import sample from original plant through SFDC/SAP.(Import material)
- Work with local plant to prepare new sample stock availability of local produced material
- Agree on sample handling SOP
- Conduct training on sample policy to business, CS, and sample team
- Ensure sample blending and pick & pack are adherence to SOP and food safety
- Prepare all documents needed for inbound and outbound sample order on time.
- Provide sample report to management on mthly base
- Conduct sample inventory account
- Backup other Sample Assistants/Coordinators when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- knowledge of all materials to ensure against foreign contamination or unusual physical qualities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all departments
- Mathematical skills
- Fluent business English communication skills
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read computer generated reports.
- Ability to distinguish product names, resource numbers, lot numbers and warehouse locations.]
- Ability to accurately verify weights and amounts through mathematical calculations.
- Ability to lift up to and including 55 pound packages in a safe manner.
- Ability to understand and follow procedures of the department for the proper use of the department's equipment.
Training / Certifications
- Forklift training
- IATA training
- HAZMAT training
- SFDC training
- SAP training in functional area of expertise
