Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated, client-focused Sales Representative with a passion for luxury events and a track record in commission-based sales. This role will involve cultivating new business by identifying and engaging potential clients, representing Luxe Linen at industry networking events, and building relationships with existing clients to manage their linen needs. You’ll work in a metrics-driven environment with robust support from our marketing team and extensive training and coaching resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and pursue new client leads, introducing Luxe Linen’s unique offerings to event professionals across the industry.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between sales, ordering, payment, warehouse, and delivery teams.
- Industry Representation: Act as a Luxe Linen ambassador by attending select industry networking events (typically one per quarter), showcasing our expertise and elevating our brand.
- Presentations & Client Engagement: Deliver polished presentations to clients, both in-person, over Zoom, and via phone, articulating Luxe Linen’s distinct offerings and tailored solutions.
- Goal Achievement: Thrive in a competitive, commission-based sales environment, balancing personal performance with team spirit and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales & Event Industry Background: 4-10 years of proven sales experience in the event industry, with a background in event venues, floral design, restaurant event space sales, or event rentals highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Mail, Office, Calendar, and Instagram for communication, scheduling, and brand representation. Must have experience working with CRM's.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Well-spoken, goal-oriented, friendly, and professional in both client and internal interactions.
- Driven & Self-Motivated: Able to set and achieve personal goals within a team-oriented and supportive environment.
