Job Description
We are looking to hire an eager and experienced Route Sales Representative to be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base in the gas, convenience, and grocery channels. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Route Sales Representative’s role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating a Delivery Truck (G Class) and handheld invoicing system to load products from the warehouse into the Delivery Truck and delivering products to customers
- Carrying-out CVOR safety inspections of the delivery vehicle, and correctly loading it with product and point of sale materials
- Identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Collaborating with supplier partners’ representatives to provide them with product knowledge, consumer trends, and overall business needs
- Delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Managing inventory by keeping accurate records that are reconciled daily
- Recording delivery information, obtaining customers’ signatures, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to three-years’ sales experience, and Secondary-school education is preferred
- Valid Class G Driver’s License is mandatory, with a minimum three-years’ driving experience and a safe and clean driving record
- Valid Class D – DZ License is an asset
- Patience and reliability navigating through traffic and various road conditions
- Superior interpersonal and written communications, time management, and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
- Ability to understand customer needs and concerns and win their business
- Independently taking action to achieve high-performance goals
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to use handheld devices effectively.

Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
