WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Sales Administration Manager for the Cemstone Companies including: Cemstone Products Company, Cemstone Ready Mix Inc, Cemstone Concrete Materials LLC, Dakota Aggregates, and River’s Edge Concrete, LLC. The Sales Administration Manager is responsible for managing the sales administration functions essential to the sales team. These include duties include managing the daily sales coordination and integrity of quotes, projects, annual pricing, administration processes, customer interactions, sales reports, electronic customer offerings, and customer pay application processes. The Sales Administration Manager must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded. Must be able to develop and drive strategic initiatives that improve administration performance with professional and effective communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Annual Pricing Administration process which includes but is not limited to preparing account pricing lists, updating item pricing, entering and revising documents, documentation integrity and overall schedule.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement by facilitating an ongoing organization of change to foster continuous process improvement. Work closely with sales management team to identify sales process opportunities for improvement. Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Collaborate with other department leads to create well rounded cohesive change to improve the betterment of the company.
- Implement enabling technologies, including CRM improvements, and reporting to sales management team. Monitor the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. Works closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of Cemstone’s technology focus. Manage and maintain the CRM customer database, account assignments and related sales lists.
- Monitor integrity of sales reports while identifying opportunities for improvement or creation of additional reporting.
- Responsible for guaranteeing extraordinary customer experience by facilitating and processing customer requests and service concerns with professionalism to ensure a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
- General Sales Operations. This includes but is not limited to managing interdepartmental correspondence, mail distribution, office equipment, and sales-related office supplies.
- Type, distribute, and maintain documentation associated with work to be quoted and received.
- Assist internal and external customers with various sales-related computer applications and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 or 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required. Knowledge of the concrete industry desired.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals; Ability to write various reports and correspondences; Ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of the organization; Excellent spelling, grammar, and phone skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multi-task and carefully proof their own work.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, basic Internet skills, etc. Must have the ability to learn and use new software systems quickly.
