Salary Range: $40,000 - 50,000 base with incentives

Reports to: COO

Summary:

As a Sales Representative, you will be challenged to initiate and complete all tasks related to increasing current volume of sales and facilitating relationships and rapport with customers to best represent our brands and Company. You will work closely with the BG team at the brewery in Braddock, accounts across multiple counties, and our distribution partners.

  • Achieve established monthly goals by brand and package.

  • Generate business opportunities by communicating with customers in a timely manner, visiting stores, personally visiting clients, attempting to make new placements, and providing product education
  • Customers
  • Assure accuracy of account universe across platforms including detailed records of interactions, conversations, inquiries, complaints, comments, feedback, and preferences
  • Cultivate and maintain rapport with owners and decision makers.
  • Familiarize established accounts with new products and company developments.
  • Communicate price changes, effective dates, and service obligations.
  • Maintain call frequency as established for territory for on-premise accounts.
  • Ensure that appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner to resolve errors and customer concerns and collaborates with team members to deliver a quality experience for the customer
  • Inventory
  • Ensure quality audits in all accounts. This includes moving close coded product to an account that can sell it prior to reaching the expiration date.
  • Identify and control out of stock conditions.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure a customer-centric approach to the weekly order cycle and maintain an organized schedule
  • Events
  • Execute all duties related to setting up, attending, and regulating night and weekend promotions as well as all other special events per established standards.
  • Meet established level of execution for all company and supplier incentives.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively with customers and employees. This includes active listening, asking informed questions, and giving and receiving professional feedback.
  • Ability to calculate in various units of measure using whole numbers, percentages, etc.
  • Ability to work fluently with multiple software suites and programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree. Relevant work experience considered.
  • Must have a valid Class C driver's license with a driving record that meets the Company's standards and company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Flexible attitude and schedule. You will be asked to work nights and weekends for events and be able to customers outside of traditional office hours.

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 to 200 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to drive during shifts to various accounts.

Work environment

While the job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that processes can be completed on time and error-free, our brewhouse is fast paced. The demands of the job are rapidly changing as we scale production to meet our current market demand. You will actively be asking to inform and build processes and systems, in addition to executing existing SOP’s.

Based in the historic steel town of Braddock, twenty minutes east of downtown Pittsburgh, along the Monongahela River. Located in a renovated electrical supply storefront and warehouse in the shadow of the still-operating Edgar Thomson Works, the first Bessemer steel plant built by Andrew Carnegie.
