Inside Sales Representative
The Team:
Blue Line Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to act as a pre-sales champion to help drive sales – business development, pipeline, and revenue for a rapidly growing sales organization. The successful candidate(s) will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role and will have the ability to drive results.
The Inside Sales Representative will become a specialist in relevant business trends, the national market situation, challenges, opportunities, and product/solution positioning to drive help us pipeline acceleration and revenue growth. The Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively on an ongoing basis towards the goal of new account acquisition and maximized selling opportunities.
What your day will look like:
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company hardware & software solutions, including ability to create an outline of customer needs and their associated Build of Materials.
- Ability to identify and ‘cold call’ potential clients
- Provide timely follow-up and management and tracking of incoming leads from; Online, phone, email and chat
- Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to develop inbound lead handling process.
- Updating customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking
- Forecast, manage and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity
- Conduct product presentations and prequalify leads for on-site demonstrations.
- Ask exploratory questions and provide guidance on BLS products for cross and upsell opportunities
- Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed that helps account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy BLS solutions
- Partner with Sales Leadership to develop and maintain organization to create a scalable, repeatable framework that helps us exceed our business goals
- Communicating regularly with Regional Sales Managers (RSM)
- Track effectiveness of programs and the associated ROI; monitor trends and apply to improve future programs
- Will assist in preparations for and travel to various conferences and events throughout the United States
- Other Duties as Assigned in benefit of Blue Line Solutions
About you:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales for a law enforcement and/or technology company.
- Track record of high performance in a BDR/SDR capacity.
- Experience in the Electronic Security Industry (Speed Enforcement, ALPR, etc.) preferred.
- Strong work ethic with self-starter attitude.
- Able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient with modern sales technology a CRM program (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and the ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
- Organized, detailed and process oriented
- Law Enforcement Experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
