ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Territory Sales Representative at RM COCO, you play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing relationships within your designated region. Your responsibilities involve understanding the unique needs of accounts within the territory and effectively showcasing the diverse range of high-quality fabrics and design solutions offered by RM COCO. You act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's commitment to excellence in the design trade. By staying informed about industry trends and product innovations, you provide valuable insights to clients and help them make informed decisions. Building and maintaining strong partnerships, you contribute to the growth and success of both RM COCO and the design professionals you serve. Your role as a Territory Sales Rep is pivotal in fostering lasting connections, driving sales, and ensuring that RM COCO continues to be the preferred choice for design enthusiasts in your territory.

This full time position will responsible for:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with both prospective and established clients within the designated territory, encompassing interior designers, decorators, drapery workrooms, upholsterers, and retail partners.
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies aimed at surpassing predefined sales targets, emphasizing the expansion of market share within the existing customer base.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to inform and inspire clients about our diverse product offerings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product advancements, and competitor activities to pinpoint new business prospects.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the internal customer service team, ensuring a seamless customer experience and heightened client satisfaction.
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge and training to both customers and showroom partners.
  • Actively participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase RM COCO, fostering brand awareness and expanding our professional network.
  • Conduct regular travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, fortify relationships, and provide unparalleled customer support.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.

· Minimum of 3-4 years of sales experience preferably in the home furnishings industry, serving interior designers, interior decorators, drapery workrooms, upholsterers, and retailers.

· Sales Acumen: A strong understanding of sales principles and strategies to effectively promote RM COCO's products and achieve sales targets.

· Relationship Building: The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of clients, including interior designers, decorators, workrooms, upholsterers, and retailers.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for dynamic presentations, effective client communication, and collaboration with internal teams.

· Strategic Thinking: The capacity to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company objectives and drive growth within the assigned territory.

· Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of RM COCO's product offerings to provide informative and compelling presentations to clients.

· Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

· Training Abilities: Capability to provide product knowledge and training sessions to customers and showroom partners, enhancing their understanding and promoting the brand.

· Networking Skills: Actively engage in trade shows and industry events to promote RM COCO, expand the professional network, and generate new business leads.

· Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory to meet clients, attend events, and maintain strong relationships.

· Goal-Oriented: A results-driven mindset, focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets within the designated territory.
