Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
- Establish processes, and analytics to provide insights and governance on revenue recognition compliance
- Develop financial models to test revenue compliance and adherence to the company’s internal control procedures
- Closely partner with finance, commercial & sales teams to ensure compliance with revenue policies
- Responsible for building analyses and dashboards from data to drive insights and recommendations for revenue compliance across the company’s multiple revenue streams
- Help analyze large amounts of information generated through the course of company operations across different departments, using various analytics & visualization tools to monitor compliance
- Develop and adhere to best practices in revenue compliance & reporting: data integrity, test design & approach, analysis and validations
- Define and manage policies for assessing programs for potential risk, advising on how to apply guidelines and compliance strategies
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of global revenue recognition policies, procedures, and controls ensuring consistent implementation
- Support monitoring processes to ensure policy compliance and effectiveness of revenue controls
- Support the implementation of processes and controls on all cross-functional deals for Finance teams from the initial development of appropriate revenue accounting treatment providing a clear roadmap for ongoing ownership to complete the implementation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, provide technical accounting guidance, and support the company’s financial reporting process where necessary
Education and Experience
- 8+ years experience in revenue operations, management consulting, financial modeling, or similar fields
- Strong project management skills with experience delivering high-quality results in tight deadline environments
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with senior leadership
- Exceptional internal/external presentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills; Rapid critical thinking skills
- Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with analytics and visualization tools
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity to take calculated risks to solve problems, forge new paths for growth, and achieve challenging goals
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Salary Range(annual): $140,000-$160,000 (CA)
