Field Sales Representative
We are looking for a competitive field sales representative to develop sales strategies, maintain new customers and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of Pathfinder Inspections products and services. As an outside sales representative or sales agent, they will research sales competition.
Responsibilities
- “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (Rig-to-Rig, cold calling, presentations, etc.)
- Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Evaluate customers skills, needs, and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generates or follow through sales leads
- Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
- Identifying business growth targets and implementing sales plans across the Permian Basin and New Mexico
- Required traveling to multiple sites in the field
Skills
- Proven verifiable sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Familiarity with different sales techniques
- Required knowledge of Upstream and the Oil/Gas Industry
- Computer use competency, highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Self-motivated, passionate, and driven
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable sales experience in the Oil/Gas Industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
