Sales Associate

Position:

• Meet with Referral sources for new Auto/Home accounts
• Participate in networking events
  
• Meet and quote new prospective auto/home/farm or business clients
  
• Would need to be comfortable speaking with people you do not know
  
• Be ambitious and be okay with setting and meeting goal expectations
  
• Salary and commissions could be adjusted depending upon skill level (Bilingual a plus!)

Step 1:

• Background check
  
• Fingerprints (Fee reimbursed from La Grange Agency)

Step 2:

• Study insurance license material through AD Banker (Fee reimbursed from La Grange Agency)
• Take tests for Personal Lines, Commercial lines, Life & Health. Each test should take you two weeks on average to study/take test… Studying & test taking should be completed within a two month window
• Must be able to obtain licenses in Personal/Commercial and Life/Health lines of insurance coverage

(Testing cost is reimbursed from La Grange Agency for first test only.)

Step 3: Training in office.

• 90 day probationary period
• Office responsibilities would be to meet with prospective clients, join networking and/or marketing groups, 80% of our business is referrals, join groups that would be good at giving referrals…
• Your main job is to be a extension of the agent, writing business.
• The goal for this position is to write 6 new accounts/month If all you are doing is quoting, meeting with clients, and writing business, this should not be a difficult goal to make.
• We have a 25% success ratio is quoting, so you need to quote 4 people for auto/home coverage to every one new account you write.

Below is an example of income:

Annual Salary $40,000

(With salary and commission, should make approximately $5000/month)

(Of course the above can change, subject to the agent contract, and how much new business is sold.)

(If business cancels prior to the 12 months anniversary date, commission is reverted.)

Benefits:

• After 90 Probationary period:
• 4.0 Hrs/Month personal time
• Holiday paid hours: New years day, memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & day after thanksgiving, Christmas eve & Christmas day.
• $200 Stipend per month for health coverage

After 1 year employment:

• The above plus one week paid vacation

After 2 years employment:

• The above plus two weeks paid vacation
