We are excited to announce that we are adding an additional inside sales person to our existing team. Freelin-Wade is seeking a dynamic professional who excels at working with customer accounts and has exemplary follow-through. The role requires that you are organized and have strong computer skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing customer accounts via e-mail and phone in an industrial or technical setting.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership for the overall body of work and each customer we interface with and who will be able to effectively collaborate with their immediate team and other departments.

In this position, you will play a vital role in our success by doing just that. You will serve as a primary point of contact for distributors and end-user customers for technical product information, application assistance, and quotations.

Freelin-Wade specializes in manufacturing small diameter plastic tubing. We sell to a wide-variety of customers in industries such as: electronic component and equipment manufacturers, medical, food, and beverage, fluid power, chemical manufacturing, water & waste treatment, aerospace, automotive, industrial, and construction. Work Week: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M or 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. depending on your lunch preference.

Starting Wage: $28.00 - $30.00/hour - depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and e-mails from new and existing customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
  • Investigate for opportunities to solve issues for our customers and expand on the products or volume sold using cues in calls, e-mails, knowledge of the customer's industry, etc.
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Provide information to customers concerning product information, performance, pricing, stock availability, order status, etc.
  • Respond to requests from, and work with, customers to create quotations for custom products
  • Create purchase orders and work with other departments to ensure our customers get the products they order, accurately and by the date promised to them
  • Resolve customer problems with orders, invoices, or product - determine cause and recommend best solution
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure that all customer communications are addressed
  • Complete product returns and billing corrections

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) and 3 - 5 years related customer service/sales experience OR
  • an acceptable combination of education, skills, knowledge, and ability
  • Strong math and computer skills

Ability to:

  • Read, analyze and interpret general business writing and reports, technical product reports, and analysis reports or documents.
  • Write moderately complex correspondence;
  • Effectively present information to customers, and employees one-on-one or in small group situations;
  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals;
  • Compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar and line graphs;
  • Calculate percentages to apply discounts to list price;
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form;
  • Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
  • Navigate in a variety of software programs including word processing, spreadsheet, proprietary systems, and Internet;
  • Work independently and as a member of a group in a cooperative and collaborative manner;
  • Use or develop reliable systems and work habits to effectively prioritize and organize a multitude of tasks;
  • Identify potential problems and independently seek out alternative solutions, including research, trial tests and communication of activities to others;
  • Understands mechanical processes and pneumatic operations.
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
