Job Overview

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the critical bridge between our technical capabilities and our potential clients. You'll combine deep technical expertise with exceptional sales skills to develop and close complex IT solutions for businesses across various industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of potential clients' IT infrastructures
  • Develop tailored technology solutions that address specific business challenges
  • Create detailed technical proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to design and demonstrate solution architectures
  • Provide technical pre-sales support and product demonstrations
  • Qualify and generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our service offerings, emerging technologies, and industry trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and technical stakeholders
  • Participate in technical evaluations and proof of concept (POC) projects

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, IT consulting, or solutions engineering
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies, cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
  • Proven track record of successfully closing technical sales deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills

Technical Competencies

  • Networking technologies (TCP/IP, VPN)
  • Cloud platforms (Office 365, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Cybersecurity solutions
  • Microsoft 365 and enterprise software ecosystems
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Network and system monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant technical certifications (CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA)
  • Experience with managed service provider (MSP) sales
  • Background in enterprise IT solution design
  • Knowledge of vertical market technologies
